New Delhi, August 27 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared on Sunday that Mission Chandrayaan has evolved into a symbol of the ‘New India’ spirit – a spirit determined to achieve victory and equipped with the knowledge of triumphing in any circumstance. He emphasized that the lunar program is also a tangible manifestation of women’s empowerment.
During his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast, Modi remarked that Indian daughters are now venturing into even the realm of space, traditionally deemed boundless. “When the daughters of a nation exhibit such aspirations, that nation is destined for development that can’t be hindered,” he expressed.
Observing that more than three days have passed since Chandrayaan reached the moon, the prime minister highlighted the immense significance of this achievement, suggesting that no amount of discussion can adequately encapsulate its magnitude. He also shared lines from a poem he authored, conveying the message that “the sun has just risen.”
